Item 1 : Expose the wall to brick work remember the plaster is already affected and you have not yet delt with the problem. Item 2 : Apply strong coats of SBR using Cem 2 as an activator onto the brick work using brush , Item 3 Re-plaster using SBR latex into the plaster to help protect and cure . 🫡

PETRAM VENTURES LTD. :
NB: Bricks, concrete naturally contain hygroscopic soluble salts that can pull moisture right back to the new paint in a few months and efflorescence is a symptom of moisture movement and soluble salts
Scrape off the lose paint, remove contaminated plaster since its compromised right back to the original block work.
Treat the salts on block work by applying specialised anti-salt impregnating primer (imported-deep penetrating silcate primers) of specialty damp-proof and salt encapsulating or plascon alkali resistant primers/wall sealant so that it soaks deep into pores.
This stops residual nitrates and chlorides from migrating forward to the new surface.Avoid using contamintaed water and sand for replaster.
Superflex is not a breathable mineral piant...if you can use traditional alternative of site-mix lime wash using hydrated building lime, clean water and sometimes tinted with alkali-resistant mineral pigments that mimic the breathability and chemical bonding of commercial lime paints.
NB: Using an elastomeric paint like superflex to fix active efflorescence is a high risk gamble because it creates a thick, rubbery continous plastic film designed to block water and trap water vapour behind the coating..........but it works only if you completely eliminate external water intrusion

Sam Jonans :
but now you are applying the treatment on the affected wall already
..
you would have removed the plaster first and re start from the bricks and if possible you could have installed another DPM on the bricks since it's raising dampness
