One of the most common things I see in clinic is people avoiding movement because they’re worried they’ll make their back worse. The problem is that avoiding movement for too long can sometimes leave you feeling even stiffer and less confident. Exercises like this aren’t about “putting your back back into place.” They’re about helping you move in a controlled way, getting your glutes working again, and gradually rebuilding confidence in your body. Every back is different, so this won’t be the right exercise for everyone.
