Tilda is currently on heat, and if you’ve ever lived with a female dog during this stage, you already know that moods can be all over the place. One minute she’s calm, the next she’s grumpy, jumpy, and acting like she’s got a thousand things on her mind. But here’s the thing: routine doesn’t take a holiday. Even with all the distractions and mood swings, training and structure remain part of the day. Consistency is one of the biggest gifts we can give our dogs, especially during periods when they’re feeling a little different than usual. So today’s session wasn’t about perfection. It was about showing up, sticking to the routine, and working through whatever mood Miss Tilda decided to bring to class. 😅 Some moments were smooth, some moments required a little extra patience, but that’s all part of the process.
