if you do the latesummerdream sweater, make the arms shorter than what the pattern calls for. theyre knit and attatched before completing the chest and neck, so its not easy to go back and shorten them and its hard to see how long they'll actually be prior to knitting the top section of the sweater. i made mine according to the pattern and they went down past my finger tips. I had to do sweater surgery on my sleeves, which is very hard w half fisherman's rib, and I had to shorten them by about two inches. for reference, im 5'7 and made a size medium.
