I've been following British politics since the 80s and have voted for conservatives since the 90s. Never in that entire time have I ever seen a politician so viscerally hated by so many. And he arguably has been very level and steady more so than any politician since Brown. Boris wasn't hated this much and he did so much more to deserve it.
