1 can crescent roll dough 1/2 cup chopped pecans (plus a few whole ones for topping) 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp corn syrup or maple syrup 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash) Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Spoon about a tablespoon of the pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll up the dough from the wide end to the point, tucking in any filling that tries to escape. Place the crescents on the baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg. Press a few whole pecans on top of each roll for extra crunch and prettiness. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Let them cool slightly before serving — the filling will be gooey and irresistible! Try this next time Drizzle with a little glaze made from powdered sugar and milk for a bakery-style finish!
