Wrong discussion. Rohit Sharma should definitely play in the World Cup. Age is just a number when a player still has the skill, fitness, and experience to deliver. Just look at Lionel Messi—he's almost 39 and still represents Argentina because big tournaments are won by experience, not age. The same applies to cricket. World Cups are about handling pressure, making smart decisions, and leading from the front. Without experienced players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, India may struggle in crucial moments. Young talent is important, but it cannot replace years of experience overnight. The BCCI should not put all its faith in the head coach. Team selection must be based on merit, form, and experience. Ignoring proven match-winners could cost India another World Cup.
