John was just really hung up on Paul, and that along with his infidelity really strained his relationships. Yoko even called Paul a bit after John's murder to tell him that he was gay...i think john's self hatred, jealously and internalized homophobia broke up the beatles as well. But I ultimately think Yoko was good for him as a creative equal and wife, allowing him to be a better person and father to Sean. We all know John was angry and hurt that Paul didn't want him to be in control of the relationship and also that he didn't have any interest in avant garde songwriting and possibly further emotional intimacy... 👨❤️👨 "no one said anything about Paul having a spell over me or me having a spell over Paul"
