Mike worked so hard to gain the skills of a scarer because that's what he wanted to be but he didn't have it in him no matter how hard he tried. But his arc is not sad because he learns that even though he's not scary, he is fearless and that's what kept him and his team in the scare games and how he made it to Monsters Incorporated. Such a mature lesson for a kids film to have, don't be disappointed if you fail to be what you want to be because you could still make it but it might not go as you think it might go, and that's ok life is unpredictable.

I just realized, there are no coaches or tag teams in each monster's station in their time here. That is why, Mike and Sully's historical record changed the system of scaring, they starting to have coaches in each scarer. What a MIND and BODY tag team they are!

I love this. It teaches children that sometimes in life no matter how hard you try, some things just don’t work out for you and it’s sad but that’s life. Sometimes you end up on a path that was meant for you more and you end up happier

Mike worked so hard to be scarier, studied very hard to be the best but the thing u can try ur hardest but if the thing is not meant for u it doesnt matter how much u put ur value, it wasnt his path, this movie teach so much, if its not meant than it means nothing how much you try, but remember there is always your path what it meant it will be❤️

the best thing that Mike became was to be a teacher and he deserves it for getting failed but Mike destiny was to be a teacher so maybe scaring was hard for him to do when u ain't scarry or ugly, he was beautiful like sully, sully was scared everyday, he saw boo get scared made him realize scaring is wrong and hurtful to do so laughing was the right way to be funny, Mike and Sully are family
