Literacy doesn’t always translate on screen. They dramatize and change things in All book adaptations. Im sad that all this noise is around the book. And I don’t know what changes but in their relationship but Tomi was on set for most of this movie. So it has to be a more personal issue

Do this people know Afrobeats is not the only genre Nigeria has or something, Nigeria is a very diverse country with diverse ethnicities who each has the their own indigenous genre made by them, there’s a lot of indigenous Nigerian genre that would have fit like Ogene, Fuji, juju, Ekpili, Kakaki etc, why’s it anytime they want to reference the music Nigerians do they quickly run to Afrobeats, it’s like putting hip-pop in an obvious fantasy movie, an afrobeats is a contemporary genre so I dunno how it might work, and again as mainstream or popular the genre might be it’s a complex intricate that might not be executed properly if you’re not in tune with it or know what you’re doing and you just end up doing this generic thing, but I’m excited to see how it goes tho
