@ibn_lens: Day 2 of AFCAS Training for Regional PROs Successfully Completed The Ghana National Fire Service has successfully concluded Day 2 of the Automated Fire Compliance and Safety System (AFCAS) training programme for Regional Public Relations Officers. The session continued to deepen participants’ understanding of AFCAS, with discussions focusing on key operational components, stakeholder engagement, public sensitization, and the role of effective communication in supporting the system's nationwide implementation. As part of the day’s activities, participants took part in practical interview sessions designed to simulate media and public engagement scenarios. The exercise provided officers with the opportunity to respond to questions on AFCAS, sharpen their communication skills, and enhance their readiness to engage stakeholders confidently and accurately. The training continues to equip officers with the knowledge, tools, and communication competencies required to champion AFCAS and support Ghana’s transition towards a modern, technology-driven fire safety compliance system.
