@annasrealty: 📊 Silicon Valley by the Numbers | Episode 1 Everyone talks about Saratoga’s Golden Triangle… but is the premium actually real, or is it just the neighborhood’s reputation? As a Realtor, I hear this question all the time. Rather than relying on opinions, I decided to look at the data. To make it as fair as possible, I compared: ✔️ 16 recent home sales inside the Golden Triangle ✔️ 49 recent home sales across the rest of Saratoga ✔️ Homes with nearly identical average living areas and lot sizes Here’s what I found: 🏡 Average Sale Price Golden Triangle: $4.71M Rest of Saratoga: $4.34M 📐 Average Living Area Golden Triangle: 2,869 sq ft Rest of Saratoga: 2,873 sq ft 💰 Average Price per Sq Ft Golden Triangle: $1,679 Rest of Saratoga: $1,527 👉 Buyers paid about 10% more per square foot for comparable homes inside the Golden Triangle. To me, that’s what makes real estate so fascinating. Two homes can look almost identical on paper, yet location, reputation, buyer demand, and lifestyle can still have a measurable impact on value. This is exactly why I love digging into the numbers instead of relying on assumptions. What Silicon Valley neighborhood should I analyze next? ⸻ 📊 Silicon Valley by the Numbers is my series where I use real MLS data to explore the questions buyers and sellers ask most.
