Do you have trauma from Alaska? Made me think of that when you said your body doesn’t want to be there

you have betrayed yourself. you have made a sacrifice and in doing so have self betrayal. its why you are ruminating and not over it. you are grieving and grief is..a long run way.

Sounds like your mind/body are just trying to process being back in the place that you have trauma related to?

Spend more time with Jesus! Before your start your day have dedicated alone time in reading your Bible and prayer! Buy a cute journal and start writing Bible verses to memorize🥰 when I start feeling a down feeling I know I need to spend time with our true fulfillment which is the Lord!🥰

I can’t recommend vitamin d supplements enough. Fricken changed my life!! The irony is that I moved to Georgia but I never go outside because I hate the heat so I wasn’t getting any sunlight🫣

It’s weird how your body reacts post trauma. Like things are great but your body is heck no

I recommend Vitamin D taken with calcium if you aren’t already. But moving back to a place with a lot of trauma, even when it’s going well, can feel like you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. It can also bring up all the hard stuff from the past, especially when things are going well and your brain feels safe to process stuff it pushed down before. Maybe there’s still some forgiveness that needs to happen for the location and timing not being ideal. Regardless, I’m glad you are sharing and I’m praying you feel better soon.

Your body kept the score of what happened here. Until you begin to grieve it, your body won’t be able to settle. Praying you find peace in your new home ❤️

I recently moved to Alabama from Kentucky, and something I’ve been struggling with is my mind rejecting being here and constantly wanting to move back to my home state. I also don’t have a good community here when back home I did.

This happened to me when I moved into my childhood home that I inherited in ny state. I lived there for 5 years, I developed gastritis, kidney stones, and my depression doubled down. I eventually sold the place and moved back to CA and all of that disappeared. This won’t be the case for everyone or even you, but just sharing to say I get it. Our bodies can literally say NO THANKS.

I moved back to my hometown after running away for 4 years bc it’s what I thought we needed and it was literally the worst 2 years of my life. We moved back to my husbands home town a state away and it’s like a breath of fresh air everytime I walk out of my house again.

Moving is like being repotted if you were a plant. It gives you a bit of root shock and you may not grow and blossom as much the first year. But once your roots heal, you’ll be flourishing. That’s always been my experience moving at least.

This happened to me last year when I quit my two jobs & moved away from my friends/family to our dream home. I lost 30 pounds in 2 months because I would walk & pray 10+ times a day. Just felt out of body & out of my mind. Anyway, currently moving back home. Lol.

I’m not sure when you’ll be in Wilmington, but I have a little bakery about an hour away and I’d love to give you some treats free of charge to hopefully make your day a little sweeter. We just moved to North Carolina and I am originally from Soldotna, Alaska - I can totally understand your feelings. ❤️

I completely feel you. We just moved back to hometown and it’s mentally been so hard on me. I 100% have lots of trauma here so I think that’s my issue.
