Codex genuinely better than anything rn GPT 5.6 sol extra high and ultra beat everything in actual long coding goals and codex subscription gives you so much usage they did a test with like tokens burn and in the monthly usage they were able to get $14,000 worth of token usage out of the 200 dollar plan it’s crazy

Cursor is buns, has the worst benchmarks as an agent and they have bad limits on SOTA models since they pay api pricing, or close to it. I would stick to Claude code, codex and open code. Gemini cli/antigravity and grok build are the only options worse than cursor. Only reason I would use it is if you are college student and can’t spend $$ on a sub since they offer 12 months free of their $20 pro plan.
