I’m Italian, not having enough food for at least four extra people is my nightmare! I can understand why the host was upset!

The boyfriend should have taken the pizza or at least shared the main meal and pizza with his gf.

I’d be happy with the pizza honestly 😂 but I’m not a fancy food person hell Dino nuggets would be great and a funny story

I would have told the uninvited guest that I had no idea that he decided to bring an extra person. I would have taken his portion and cut in half.

So the OP and their spouse had an extra fillet and lobster tail for the next day? Sounds like a win!

The friend was beyond rude to bring an uninvited person that no one else knew. Shame on him & shame on whoever was supposed to teach him etiquette.

OP was accommodating, guest was inconsiderate by not giving host a heads up.

all dude has to do is call in advance and ask if its okay to bring his girlfriend. I would be embarrassed about showing up with the uninvited guest.

Just to be real petty, give the invited persons meal to his date & tell him since I made only enough for the people I invited & you brought a date I figured you would be a gentleman & let your date have your meal.

NTA, they gave you no notice and that stuff is expensive so not like you’re running out quickly to get more. They can split the friends plate between him and his gf or friend can give up the entire plate and he can order something or have the frozen pizza. I over cook meaning I cook too much all the time but filet and lobster, you cook that for the amount of people at the party!!!

Would you like jelly or honey on your peanut butter sandwich? If you're allergic, I have sunflower seed butter.
