The way everyone is just defending the dog and putting it over people is crazy. Some barking when people come over can be expected especially from a guarding breed. What isn’t okay, is continuous barking. The dog is either stressed out, overly aroused or anxious and needs to be worked with in order to combat this. Just because a dog barks at people doesn’t inherently mean “bad vibes” 😭 that is just a crazy leap. Just train your dogs people. Get them used to others.

my dog barks until they take their shoes off which is why we have a door mat that says “shoes off paws out” and a little note in our doorway that says “shoes off household please” but sometimes people don’t follow rules and i’m like sorry bro my dog doesn’t like shoes in the house 😭

Rotties were genetically bred to guard and be cautious of people they don’t know/don’t frequently interact with. Unless these are people the dog has met several times already in a controlled setting, this is entirely the owner’s fault and they should have done more research before getting one.
