I love the idea of making homemade gifts, but I don’t have enough friends who cook or bake so they wouldn’t be interested, but I do like making Limoncello for Christmas, and hostess gifts or any other occasion.

I have a batch that's 30 years old. Never goes bad as long as the vanilla beans are completely submerged. It's the best.

off topic but I use the extract to make my own coffee creamer. and I used vodka and Madagascar beans. I m going to wait a year. do you think it will be smooth. thanks

im waiting on my splits to arrive and I still have half a bottle of vanilla in Madagascar A beans well over a year old...im gonna put that vanilla in another jar, should I put the spilts in with the old Madagascar beans or is it better to start new??
