Hey, I just got surgery and have been in a cast for two weeks and some things that I definitely don’t regret buying is a foot elevation pillow. You can just get it off of Amazon, but it’s a lifesaver and is so much more comfier to sleep with! if you have to ice it, I would definitely recommend getting the ice packs that Velcro around your leg, you just put it on the back of your knee and it helps swelling in your ankle. I got a knee scooter and it’s pretty convenient since crutches are so exhausting for going long distances, but in my situation, it pushes down on my cast and makes it hurt more but your situation might be different.
