Reason three and four: still the short lob. Here's why that one shot quietly loses you match after match. A lob that lands mid-court hands your opponent a free smash from the perfect height, and now you're defending a bomb you never had to face. A good lob does the opposite โ it pushes them off the net and buys you the time to reset your position. Three things turn a weak lob into a weapon. Height: think about clearing an imaginary second net two rackets above the real one. Depth: aim for the last couple of feet before the back glass, not the middle of the court. Direction: send it over their backhand, the side they can't smash cleanly from. Get those three and the "four reasons" disappear overnight. Be honest โ how many short lobs are you hitting per match? ๐
