The photo one is so great. I sometimes will accidentally switch to video mode and complement “wow what a beautiful family” or “how wonderful to be together at Christmas” and just capture a short video of their reactions. Then take photos

My toddler got loose in a crowd of kids & moms at an event at the mall. I gripped my friend's arm in a panic. She filled her lungs and BELLOWED, "Lost little girl!" And let me tell you EVERY woman in 100 square yards was instantly on duty.

when i meet a person who has an accent i ask where they are from. then i ask them the one thing I just have to do if I were to visit their country. Sometimes it's a religious temple, sometimes a beach sometimes a food. I have recommendations for across the world now and gain a deeper understanding of what is meaningful to the person I'm speaking to. Also, allowing a person to remember their home has an unexpected side effect of getting to see them almost revert to an earlier version of themselves, while they fondly remember the joys they experienced as younger people. 10/10 highly recommend.

I have a 205 pound great dane - quite tall and lean. When a stranger says "Walking your pony?", I always laugh wholeheartedly and mean it. That's the contract. They're excited and hope for a quick, fun interaction. It's good stuff.

I tell random strangers: your hair looks so nice, I love that dress, those shoes look great with that outfit, etc. Man or woman, it makes them feel great about themselves and gives me a nice, happy feeling too. 😁

Holding someone’s place in line at the grocery store as they rush back to grab something they forgot. Oh and always giving a nod and a wave if someone lets you in in bad traffic. And also letting someone in when they have their signal on.

At Ren Faires, I look for unconventional people in good garb and ask if they have a moment for a picture. Then of course I ask if I can post a picture of them. I look for the plus size people, people of color, disabled, etc. It makes my day to photograph and share cool and interesting people that don’t fit into the white and thin picture that fantasy often portrays.

When I see other women walking or riding their bikes alone and a man is approaching, I ALWAYS stop my car and wait. I watch to make sure she is a safe distance away from him or there are others in the area. I will protect her if I have to. I hope somebody does this for me too.

I sat at the banks of a canal in Holland. As I boat pasted the gentleman and myself eyes met we smiled and both looked away to find our glass to raise it to each other and starts laughing at the timing and sentiment of it. This was 7 years ago. Still makes me smile 😃
