Your mortgage company should have a copy of the inspection if you don’t have a copy of it. I would definitely be seeking legal action against the previous owners and inspector. A painted roof 😳 absolutely fucking not! I would even ask for the damages from the mold and termites because of their false reporting and negligence in the seller not being truthful.

Girl just get termite treatment, fix the roof properly and WAIT IT OUT. Do not mess up your investment bc you’re a little stressed today. It’s not worth it. Refinance when the time is right. Just ride the wave.

I 100% agree with you! I work for a mortgage company and refuse to buy a house! The payment will never stay the same and payment will increase every year! I’d rather rent because I have never dreamed to own a home!!

Ugh. That sucks. We rent and I am glad we do. Our AC has gone out twice since I have been here. We saw termites, landlord treated it. Luckily our landlord hasn’t raised the rent and we will be here 4 years come January. Fingers crossed our rent stays the same 😂

Your biggest mistake was probably letting a stranger convince you that it was a good idea. I think a lot of people don’t do their own research and sit down and figure out all the things that come with owning a home before they do it. I wish they could educate us more before making such a big purchase.
