I just hate the way they broke up. I think it’s completely fair that with Tim’s coming out, they had him date Bernard. Someone said on Twitter that DC needed to show not tell, and I agree with that, especially with everything happening in the US right now and the attitude towards LGBT+ folks. And honestly, the way they broke up and how they are now I’m fine with. I just wish their relationship break was shown, and Stephanie wasn’t treated as a stepping stone for Tim’s new relationship. I honestly think Fractions depiction of her was more accurate than Fitzmartins. Sorry I don’t know if this makes much sense, I’m kinda rambling.

I loved them, but I hated how they were treated, too. Steph, like so many other women superheroes was mistreated so badly, the msysogny was so prominent in the comics when she was around, and Tim’s character didn’t help it. I’ve only read so much of them together, but I know that them not lasting is better than them lasting. Steph has a chance for recognition and Tim’s character… well they’re certainly going a direction with him, but he’ll be back.
