It makes sense they said Mr First because you EXPECT Mrs next, not Dr… so it’s a surprise. If he said Dr first everyone thinks it’s the man, it’s still a surprise if he says it second but it’s just not the same wow factor.

all these negative comments are ridiculous. I got my doctorate last year and am getting married in 2 months. I *will* be introduced as Dr not Mrs. we work hard for our titles, why not honour them on another special day in our lives?
