@danielluriesf: 105 new homes are coming to an empty office building at 150 Hayes Street. Earlier this year, our administration created the Downtown Revitalization Financing District to make projects like these more feasible. 150 Hayes Street, along with two other office-to-housing conversations, show that momentum is building. This builds on the work we did with the Family Zoning Plan that made room for housing, as well as PermitSF, which is cutting red tape across city government. San Francisco’s families need homes to live in, and thanks to the tools we’ve created, more projects are getting off the ground.

105 units won’t solve price gauging that’s happening across the city. 105 more overpriced units that probably won’t be available for another 2 years.

More housing Mayor! Many people would love to live in the most beautiful city in the universe... Hopefully rent goes down and affordability gets better.

We also need more gyms distributed evenly throughout the city than almost all of them being concentrated in a few ritzy neighborhoods or in posh concierge buildings. And why are you focusing so many new residential buildings around super busy noisy areas like Market, Van Ness, 3rd Street while Mission, Exelcior, Crocker Amazon, Cow Palace, Glen Park and so many other neighborhoods look like ghettos still?
