Personally i haven’t experienced it but my moms extended side of the family is involved in all that and she was too at some point my dad was as well anyways my mom decided to leave that life bc she didn’t want to have us her kids involved in all that lo and behold a couple of my mom’s cousins that she was close with died soon after she left for the US with my dad
