Met Tom while he was filming The Firm in Memphis,Tn. My dad worked on the bottom floor office that faced Union Street. Tom was busy, i mean busy and being yelled at, he stopped and came and signed autographs for my sister and i, i was 14 years old. He found out we recently moved from Texas to Tennessee and was legitimately intrigued and invested in our conversation. So respectful and so nice. I will never forget. Got to meet Stanley Polack and my dad met Gene Hackman. Tom and Gene showed up to a very famous restaurant in downtown Memphis while loke 30 to 40 high school students were having thier dinner before prom. Gene and Tom signed autographs and went to the private room in the back. Turns out thet split the bill for ALL of those prom kids. So many amazing stories of how Tom helped out the community during that time. I am a forever fan.
