@itsmekellz: I know some of y’all cringe every time you hear someone say, “Wash your chicken.” But listen… Mrs. Kellz is going to clean her chicken, and here’s why: Because it’s nasty! 🤷🏽‍♀️ I like to remove any residue, feathers, bone fragments, or anything else that doesn’t belong before I season and cook it. That’s just how I was raised, and that’s how I do it in my kitchen. Now don’t start a food fight in the comments! Tell me… do you clean your chicken before cooking it, or do you skip that step?

The way some of that chicken have feathers, hair and grit in spots, and some say they don't wash their chicken? 😏 Especially with all of these recalls going on with our food. Ain't no way, I'm not cleaning and washing off my food. Been doing that for years and I won't stop now.

You have to clean chicken and turkeys. Those pin feathers have to be removed. I ain’t eating that. We clean our chicken for generations. My Grandma worked at the chicken plant for 25 years. Trust me when I say wash your chicken ❤️
