I give my nieces and nephews a count down starting at 10 min, then let them know 5 more min, 3, 1 and give them an option to see how many things they can do within the last minute lol they love it

ORRRR teach them that sometimes we have to take a break from something we enjoy to go do something else and how to manage that without rewards/distractions because you won’t always be there to get them through that transition. I see so many daycare and preschool kids that I teach struggle so immensely with transitions in a group setting because they have never dealt with a situation like that

My first never had tantrums but daughter #2? Well, she was a force to be reckoned with. Parenting 1 child is easy. They make us feel extra confident in our abilities. it's always the next ones that make us, question everything.

um rage bait? give her a 3 minute transition timer amd then a depature words "say bye bye come back soon" and if she acts up give her time out in real time . no thats not a parent hack thats terrible parenting with zero lessons being taught
