Do you think it’s a red flag if I started most of my ECs junior year? I didn’t have anyone to drive me or pick me up for personal/medical reasons and I was in clubs those years, but I didn’t really know what I was interested in. I do have high leadership in all these activities (3) despite joining late if that helps

What should I do if I came to my high school my sophomore year since I was overseas so I didn’t have the same opportunity and experiences as the rest of my classmates but I do on paper ? Because I believe it really affected my SAT, GPA, class rank, and my rigorous course load

Also, I’m a high school college counselor too. I can confirm that universities understand the student to faculty ratio. Therefore, what Tineo said about counselor recommendation is true. One of the reasons is because of what I just shared.

i know that not everyone who applies to top colleges as a senior is like around the admitted students stats, as there is reaches or some people just doing it for fun. What about transferring? I know the acceptance rates can be a lot of times higher but is it harder than first year because a higher amount of people are more qualified? Or i’m I thinking about this to far lol
