Incredible work 😭 also just so you know, contractions under medical induction meds are WAY WORSE than regular labour contractions. So even an hr without an epidural for those is huge xxx

They let you push for 6 hours…. That’s almost a full shift of work. I pushed for 2.5 and thought I was going to literally pass out of exhaustion. You are so strong mama. These babies are so worth it! I hope PP is treating you well 💛

Pushing that long is exhausting! I had a failed Epidural (only worked on 1 side). I pushed for 3 hours with a sunny side up baby. 13 years later and I still don't know how I did that. Women are truly superhuman.

congratulations!!! you are amazing, dropping a grinch reference through labor...classic Alex. My mom needed am emergency c-section with me. me and my big head got stuck (23 centimeters) so she was glad she only pushed for 10 minutes...did not want me destroying her. You did amazing!!

I am so proud of you! You’re super woman! I will say pushing for 6 hours and having a c section is ROUGH on your body so please please take care of yourself and see a pelvic floor therapist for rehab when you’re ready!

This was my labor and delivery story almost exactly, you are so strong!! I know it's so hard to go from pushing to the OR. You're so happy that they are here safely but also a weird grief that you tried so hard to not have it end the way you expected or wanted. ❤️🩹

I may get crucified for this but oh well it was my experience. I went in at 38 weeks for a scheduled External Cephalic Version. My little man was breech & they tried the procedure to turn him to no avail. My dr told me that I would need a c-section. I was a little teary at first, but quickly decided I didn’t care how he got out as long as he got out & was healthy. I never had a contraction. Honestly I would do a c section time and time again, anything over laboring & pushing. I have never felt like I was less than because I didn’t push him out my who-ha 😂 you persevered momma! Be proud
