When my dad died suddenly of a suspected heart attack at home, the neighbor saw the ambulance and the cop, and then the coroner show up, and she immediately left her house and went to a local grocery store to get us a platter of sandwiches made. She was back with those sandwiches and delivering them to us before the funeral home even picked up his body. That small act of kindness is something that I will never forget.

An acquaintance of mine was hit by a car and paralyzed from the chest down about a year and a half ago. The lady who hit him still lives in the neighborhood and still DRIVES THE CAR WITH THE DAMAGE FROM HITTING HIM. Like girl if you’re not gonna say sorry at least get the dent taken care of.
