Ik ice gets alot of hate and rightfully so but no one and I mean no one from federal law enforcement to a armed security guard will EVER just leave their cuffs behind. This was a robbery gone wrong that plain that simple. If it was ice they would of stayed and talked to police, you cant take someone down and detain them and walk away thats not a thing at all.

investigate the tsa agent that tried to deflect ppl from helping! it can’t be that difficult to review surveillance of the car they left in to find answers. so they just expect the elderly man to jus move on like nothing happened w no explanation and answers why he was targeted??

The arrest came after a prior chaotic detention attempt at the Las Vegas airport. [1, 2, 3] The incident unfolded with the following details: The Las Vegas Incident (July 13): Two plainclothes ICE agents tackled and attempted to detain Nguyen in Terminal 3 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. After bystanders intervened and began filming, questioning if the unidentified individuals were actual law enforcement, the agents aborted the arrest and walked away. [1, 2, 3] Police Intervention: Las Vegas Metropolitan Police found no outstanding criminal warrants for Nguyen, removed a handcuff still dangling from his wrist, and released him. [1, 2] The LAX Arrest (July 14): Nguyen successfully boarded his flight to Los Angeles, but was apprehended by ICE Los Angeles officers as soon as his plane landed at LAX. [1, 2] The Charges: The Department of Homeland Security stated that Nguyen entered the United States legally in 2013 but overstayed a visa that expired in 2015.
