Sydney’s Best Bar & Pub of 2026!🏆🍷🍻 This Balmain pub & dining room has one hat from the @Good Food Guide, and has recently won @Time Out Australia Time Out Sydney’s Best Bar & Pub of 2026!🍻🌟 Established in 1857, The Dry Dock is the oldest continually operating pub in Balmain - after undergoing a massively transformative renovation a few years back, the pub reopened in late 2023 with a casual Public Bar and outdoor patio seating, a cosy fireplace nook with a refined bar menu, and The Dining Room, a one-hatted bistro-style restaurant with a beautifully light & airy setting🌟 We had lunch in The Dining Room with Matt’s parents this week, and were blown away by the quality of food, carefully considered menu offerings, and incredibly warm & friendly staff🍷 Our must-orders were the Olasagasti Anchovy en croute, spanner crab Mafaldine, Rare Breed Black Berkshire Pork Cutlet, and Valrhona Chocolate Cake🤤 but honestly so hard to pick favourites!!
