For everyone saying this isn’t lasagna because it uses cottage cheese, it actually is. Lasagna can be made with either ricotta or cottage cheese. It simply comes down to the texture and flavor you prefer. Many people, myself included, choose cottage cheese because it’s more affordable and higher in protein. As for the seasoning, traditional Italian cooking often relies on a few quality ingredients rather than a long list of spices. Instead of looking for something negative in every post, maybe we can just take or leave a recipe and focus on the good, someone taking the time to be a thoughtful friend. I know I would have been incredibly grateful for a meal like this and for someone willing to show up for me after I had my girls. That’s what really matters. 🩵
