Tips for beginners: the fingers must be near to the notes to play the clarinet more easily, and if u want practice in front a mirror, and most important thing is breath from the abdomen, that trick make u play longer without breathing for a long time.

i am a clarinet player ive been playing for a long time and if u want some types then i recommend getting a Vandoren reed in a soze 2.5 or 3 never start off with a 3.5 reed nor a 3 if u havent goten alot of experience cause it could be harder to play on and also when your playing push up against ur teeth and if it hurts get a mouth peice cushion and push air and press harder and something my director tought me was to do inside yawn when ur playing high notes like when ur doing an inside yawn cause ur dont wanna be rude do that but on the clarinet and pop ur fingers also i recommend getting a new barrel sometimes the quality of the barrel helps and make sure ur tongue is up and not down cause it will make u out of tune and make sure u cover the holes i recommend learning chromatic scale before starting with big songs and starting off with small songs and put ur corners in and if it starts to sound watery suck in and it wont sound as watery and sometimes if the note doesnt come out just put less mouth peice more mouthpeice or push the air thats all my advice and start off slow in song get faster after a while thats my advice thank u!🙏🏼
