i just want to rant but i think of this song in my experience. i caught my ex boyfriend watching corn and he won’t change for me. i got with my new boyfriend and caught him watching corn. i feel like this song connects to me because when she says “i wish that i was looking into your eyes” i wish it was my exs eyes catching him watching corn and not my new boyfriend because i didnt want him to hurt me as he did so i would rather be looking into my exs eyes with that doubt and not him. and for the “when im with him im thinking of you” is self explanation but i think of my ex when the corn situation comes up with my bf bc ive been hurt like this before. now i will say i love my boyfriend whole heartedly and would do anything for him, i just wish he didnt hurt me in the same way.
