hey as someone who works here, us employees aren’t the problem, it’s the customers that create the mess and make it impossible for us to recover as we go, hence why we like to close on a timely manner ✨

girl i work in retail and i’ve had people look me dead in the eye while they throw stuff off the rack onto the floor, this is not a store issue

I work at macys and let me tell you I am running laps around the store to try and keep it at least decent. 3x the size of an old navy and I manage. Not really easy and definitely not our fault when it does get messy. Customers really should be more respectful of retail

Why are you coming in 15 mins before they close to begin with lol? Obviously, the store's gonna be a mess, especially since customers had all day to throw clothes everywhere. They're telling you bc they wanna go home when they're scheduled to go home. They want to clean the store, but can't with you in it. Do not expect a good experience when coming into ANY establishment closing soon (fast food included). Maybe if customers actually had respect and kindness, there wouldn't be issues.
