The first guy I ever had a gay experience with was interviewed right after the Pulse shooting. I remember just stopping and staring at the TV, seeing the blood on his t-shirt from the people he helped carry to the hospital. He was fine but he was absolutely not fine. It's been 15 years since we were a "thing" and over 10 years since Pulse but I still think of him every time I think about Orlando. He was/is a good man, we just didn't work out and it's such a strange place to be in with someone.

oh god, so heavy this. my ex was so mean to me. said so many mean things and just treated me horribly . I won't get into it. finally broke up with him after eight years and he ended up homeless after a couple of weeks and and now is in jail. I can't help but feel bad , even though it's not my fault and I know I couldn't do anything. I hate being an empathetic person.

I had someone who broke up with me suddenly lose their job as part of a very controversial mass layoff at a major nonprofit near me. I only knew because the layoffs were on the news and people were posting gofundmes and I put two and two together that my ex would’ve been affected. I remember feeling sick and angry for them while at the same time knowing I never want to see them again. Grief is weird

Didn’t expect this to go viral. This person is a good person who did something hurtful. I have most definitely caused some hurt as well and have grown so much because of them. They really are so wonderful. I honestly shouldn’t have made this video without better context. I looove this song and it reminds me of them. My ex stopped on the highway to help a stranded person. Some driver didn’t see him and… 💔 I found out a year after it happened. He was a good person. We never ended on bad terms, he had struggles he was working through so we were supposed to stay friends 😢 grief is weird.
