I argued this in the spring when these cuts were made at both the federal and provincial levels - there are a TON of dead zones between the GTA and Ottawa - so not even remote! The radio alerts are so important. Insane how short sighted they've all been.

Omg. Can you please present in a more professional, less demonizing way? And can you please tell the whole story not just half of it? You haven’t mentioned that we are required to meet a NATO defense spending target and the funds being spent are already allocated to defense regardless of homelessness, regardless of the cost of living, regardless of the firefighting budget, and regardless of any of the many other issues we face. You haven’t mentioned the hundreds of millions of dollars of cuts the Ford Conservatives have made to the Firefighting budget which is directly impacting the current situation. In your previous post, you didn’t mention the prerequisites of Pathways and Methane reduction by the Carney government resulting in a reduction of 16 million tonnes of emissions per year before any new pipeline continues. You are only telling half the story in some anger fugue to persecute Carney. That’s not professional.
