wrong. roughly 75-80% of all green house gas emmisions(the main problem) are caused by fossil fuels, 38-40% of the fossil fuels get used up by the electrical grid. and globaly data centers only use 1.5-3% of our electricity. dont people relize how tiny that is? ai is not one of the main reasons of climate change, not even a big reason. remember: if you use the electrical grid, use transport, walk on streets, buy products, pay taxes, etc. your already contributing a shit load to climate change. sadly we live in a society where if you want to genuenly make a change you must go off grid. only real hope we got now is that we succeed in neuclear fusion energy. its nearly free, it gives a ton of energy, has nearly 0 carbon emissions or a stain on the enviroment, it has some radioactive waste but it decays more easly then neuclear fission (what we use now) and fusion uses cheaper "fuel". issue is we have been stuck on "coming in 20 years" for like 50 years now. BUT, we did make a break through in december 2022 which made a reactor which made 154% more energy then used but wasnt sustainable for long times. now we gotta pray we make a fusion reactor which sustains it self for a long time. this actualy might be our last chance.
