True. But the cysts are different. Normally each month there’s a single follicular cyst, becoming a corpus luteum cyst after ovulation occurs, and that goes away once ovulation has passed, leading to menstruation. With PCOS/PMOS cysts, they’re not the same. They have multiple follicles and are associated with chronic irregular and anovulatory cycles. Often they can become hemorrhagic or endometriomas. They’re filled with blood or fluid.

What’s it called when all of my levels are normal. The only thing they can say is I have text book cysts but the real only thing I struggle with is irregular periods but I have “pcos” and told at 16 I couldn’t have kids have 2 children by accident mind you

No two cases of PMOS are same. Every woman is different and so is the metabolism. I am glad PCOS is finally rebranded and it has and will help in early detection and treatment.

the "cysts" aren't cysts they're follicles that don't mature. and a number of people with PMOS get ovaries like that ..they look like cysts on a sonogram but aren't

I had PCOS. I did carnivore within a month a had a cycle (didn’t have one since I was a teen), within 6 months I got pregnant. 🥰 My baby girl is a month old now. 🤩
