okay wait. i’ve been using Tretinoin for MONTHS and my skin still looks like shit. i can only use it 2-3 times a week cause it dries my face out SO bad, no matter how much i moisturize… girl, what the hell am i doing wrong cause I AM TIREDDDD 😭

Hi love! The sunscreen part isn’t fully true; US sunscreen filters have different levels of protection across different wavelengths, BUT that’s why cosmetic chemists use combos of filters, since they each excel at different points of the wavelength spectrum. Non US-based sunscreen filters can have better protection across a larger part of the spectrum (and they often feel wayyy better), but that doesn’t mean that an SPF 50 in the US and SPF 50 from Korea are giving you different levels of protection - an SPF 50 is the same across the board, it just uses different filters to get there ❤️

Add a vitamin c into your morning routine to support collagen synthesis that comes from the retinoid. Korean SPFs are incredible for this concern too!! Glycerin, urea and beta glucan.

I’m gonna add another product here.. LATISSE.. life changing.. made my lashes longer/darker/fuller in a month (tip: buy your own eyeliner brushes for application so you use less product than the shitty brushes it comes with and lasts you 6 months instead of 3)

I *finally* got my skin to tolerate Adapalene every other night and I use Azelaic Acid every morning. The only other things I use are a Bakuchiol eye cream, a hydrating serum (Aveeno) and a gel moisturizer (also Aveeno). Everyyyy now and then if certain places on my face get angry, I use a teeny tiny dab of Avene Cicalfate when I’m not using the Adapalene. And that’s all. And it’s so nice!
