The magazine also recommends exploring the island by cable car or visiting its pepper plantations, which cover more than 360 hectares. According to the An Giang Department of Tourism, Phú Quốc welcomed nearly 5.8 million visitors in the first half of the year, up more than 30 per cent from a year earlier.
