Two tips for you. Try a satin bonnet so it doesn’t feel like the straps and mask are getting caught in your hair. You can get satin wraps for the straps and mask that make it a bit more comfortable and provide some cushion so the lines on your face aren’t as bad in the morning. Good luck. Once you realize how much better you sleep with it you’ll wonder how you went so long without it.

I’ve been using my machine for almost a month now. And I definitely recommend a silk bonnet, and they have silk cover straps on Amazon that will help with the lines on your face

Life changing!! Just wish I didn’t have stripes on my face for HOURS when I get up!! I am a side sleeper and mouth breather so I have to have my full face mask TIGHT! Doesn’t bother me at night though and I got really good and rolling from one side to the other with the tube!! Again, life changing!!

I go for a sleep study in December. I am 99% sure I have sleep apnea. My problem is, I get really bad nose bleeds when the air is dry. I had to wear oxygen for a few days after a surgery and even with the bottle of saline attaxhed to it, my nose got so dry it poured blood. I am terrified that if I end up with a machine, I'll have nose bleeds every night.

I’ve had mine for a couple of years and now love it. But it took some getting used to. At least a month for me, so be sure to give it a chance. Keep trying!

Get yourself something to hold your hose above your head, it’ll swivel better. They make hose supports, we use a command hook and one of those bracelets that look like an old phone cord.

My husband has sleep apnea, and has been using his cpap for decades. The newer one he has is so quiet! I used to wake up middle of the night and hear him breathing. Now, I have to visually check. Also, make sure you’re cleaning things, replacing as you should. You’re going to sleep so good!!

I got a cpap in November last year, love it, hubby has had one for 18 years . make sure you get the right mask, I went through 3 before I found one that works for me. also look on Amazon for silky strap covers, and there maybe cloth mouth piece covers also. use distilled water, also ask for the heated tubing, it works with or without heat, but it also gets rid of condensation year round.

It was life changing for me! The best advice I got was to try getting used to it while fully awake like when you’re working at your computer or watching tv.

They told me that I had sleep apnea but I’m not using the machine no more. I only use straight Oxygen not on 2 L and my girls can tell a big difference in my sleeping.

The hose that plugs into the machine can be submerged into water!! I didn’t know this for a long time so it makes cleaning it a lot easier
