Please also look into Ella Ola, it’s a powder pack of vitamins. My son was in therapy for an eating disorder and the nutritionist recommended this.

Gi doctor for starters to see if there is anything else underlying. My son has EOE we have questioned arfid and are on the road to figuring it out. He takes a lot of pediasure. Not many foods. Is she in OT?

My 14 year old has Arfid, when she was little she would try anything. By the time she was 3 she would only eat like 3 things if she would eat at all. As a 14 year old she will maybe eat 10 things. So everyday she pretty much eats the same unhealthy thing. People judge me constantly, tell me she’s spoiled.. tells me she should be forced to eat what we are eating. I refuse. I’m so thankful she’s eating anything. She takes her multivitamin daily and all her bloodwork comes back great now. I also heard about Arfid from the internet, not a doctor, or even a therapist. Luckily I suggested it and she was able to be diagnosed. It does get easier! Just be patient and understanding! DMs are open if you need to talk!!

Gf I have a couple patients who have ARFID & they only feel comfortable eating with mom so I would recommend even making your own purées, cutting food up to let her explore (save it of course), & if you can find lactose free pedia sure introduce that too! My son is almost 7 & just now is liking food. It took a long time to get here but there is hope & light at the end of the tunnel!

My brother had arfid and he is thriving his favorite thing mini pancakes we mostly snacks all day everyday but he is still get his nutrients that he needs it was hard at first but we now keep all his safe foods in the house weither it’s just bread or chicken nuggets or pancakes or watermelon

My 4 year old has ARFID my biggest goal everyday is to find his "safe foods". He pretty much only eats fries, chicken nuggets, pizza, and grapes. As long as he eats something idc how unhealthy it is honestly.
