That’s what happens hen using not enough metal on the mounting stool of the machine. Always less iron to save money on material costs…then this happens. Seen this already 2 times! Back in the days when metal was cheap they used real thick metal but now it’s only a couple of mm’s and ‘a bend’ in the material to ‘ridging’ it up… tchhhh
