Does nobody in the comments actually know what a margarita is? Bartender of 20 yrs here… A margarita is made out of citrus limes or lime juice, tequila, and agave or triple sec for sweetener. There’s limes (mentioned in recipe via actual limes and lemonade is made from lemons which is a citrus as well), tequila (mentioned in recipe = 1800) triple sec is optional but I prefer mine with it (mentioned in recipe)…. Where’s the confusion? Most bars use tequila, triple sec, and bar sour… you’re lucky to get a marg made with fresh lime juice and agave for sweetener instead of triple sec…

couldn't find coconut 1800 but was able to find Hornitos pineapple tequila and I refuse to spend $13 on 1 single gal of lemonade so store brand was just fine for me. Next time I'll make homemade lemonade for even cheaper but it was delicious

Another dope lemonade killer is mixing it with Captain Morgan or another rum (whiskey works well too). 3/4 of the cup filled with liquor, a bit of lemonade to top it off and you wouldn't even know there's alcohol in it
