@erikschaefer7: My kiddo wants to show you our galactic neighbor, Andromeda. I had my telescope (Seestar S30 Pro) staring at the same spot in the sky for 3 nights, about 15 hours total, and saved about 2300 images. Using Siril and Graxpert, I stacked them, extracted background, and denoised. I then edited in Lightroom Mobile to bring out some color. You can also stack images in the Seestar app itself, and get similar results with a much quicker turnaround, which is very user friendly. It even does it for you automatically after a single night of imaging. If you want to see the most detailed image ever taken of Andromeda by the Hubble, visit the link below. Download/save the image, and start zooming in. Every, single, spec, is a Star. How about that for a cosmic perspective. Don’t forget to look up ⬆️ 🔭🌌. https://esahubble.org/media/archives/images/publicationtiff10k/heic1502a.tif. Affiliate link: Get your Seestar S30 Pro using my link! We truly are insignificant compare to the scale of the universe, but at the same time so incredibly lucky to be able to observe this beautiful universe through all these modern technologies. Thank you for showing us these wonderful pictures and acknowledging us.

Just Another Guy :

Absolutely incredible. I always wanted a telescope growing up. I'd like to get one at some point still. Not sure how well one would do in the suburbs of Chicago. Not sure if there's too much light pollution?

DrewVphotography :

Great job!!!! wanna see mine? I used the dwarf 3 over many many hours.

Mine is nothing compared to yours but my first discovery of Andromeda.. I was just taking pictures of the stars and noticed it standing out in my picture and knew it wasn’t a normal star. I did some research to find it was the Andromeda galaxy!! 😍

Great shot nice and crisp. Central bulge not blown out! That’s the problem I got.

biggestg0517 :

Awesome! Question...if the Universe is expanding in every direction, how can collisions occur?

Matt :

well done, andromeda is allways the go to when it comes to those who has just got into astro, I done it with a dslr and a basic skywatcher mount. it was rubbish then i wanted better kit and now am getting images like I have now with learning and building my setup today within a year. keep up the good work and hope to see bigger targets. 💙
