Lamine is a top 3 player for Spain and if you think otherwise you’re watching with your eyes closed😭 he always creates space, chances, and is one of the most progressive players on the pitch. The stats don’t show because no one finishes his chances. There were a couple times where he could’ve finished and scored but he didn’t and I acknowledge that but Spain could’ve been much better off in close games if the chances lamine created were finished

I think hes the 2nd best olayer on the team behind rodri, cuz its not just about the goals and assists, the impact he has on the game when he is on or off the ball is very important in spains game plan and success

the thing is, if spain really needed yamal to score more goals de la fuente would have changed the system to prioritise lamine carryjng the ball more but his system is completely different to flicks in barca, he doesnt need lamine to be the engine of the attack, just look at how many different players are scoring and assisting for spain

yall need some educating. The Spanish manager based the game off the Spanish midfield cuz lamine wasnt 100%. Argentina based their game off Messi, Brazil the same with vini and France off their attack (olise-mbappe) thats why they look way better the whole gameplay is built based on a player or a group of players (2-3 players)

Because dlf knows lamine isn’t fully fit and he knows he needs to get the best out of everyone. Flick does it the way around he makes lamine the focus point. Lamine is dragging defenders to him to make space for others.
