Also because they use fear and abuse as reinforcements for religion. When you’re taught it young, and then struck for saying anything against it, as an adult the idea of going against religion reminds you of that same fear.

and also colonization cuz wdym before my country got colonized people used to walk around with gold as their necklaces and bracelets like it's just some Tuesday and also everyone is treated equally even if you're a woman.
